"Satans Angel in the clouds"

2nd Lieutenant Edward G Dickey, USAAF 5th Air Force, 475th Fighter Group, 432nd Clover Squadron cloud races his Lockheed Lightning P-38H, 42-66841 Squadron number 153 while returning from a successful strike on Rabaul Harbour, East New Britian, PNG in October 1943.

"Gustavs over Sola-Stavanger"

A rotte of Bf-109 Gustavs circle over Sola-Stavanger, in southern Norway, looking for a break in the late Winter ground fog. The lead aircraft is a Bf-109 G-14 flown by Ofw Heinz Halstrick of 16/JG-5 of IV Gruppe.Ofw Halstrick flew with IV JG-5 from the Summer of 1943 until the end of the war acquiring an impressive tally of 13 victory claims and the destruction of one ship. His Gustav carries his personal emblem comprising the greeting “Kolle alaaf “, the city emblem of Koln (Cologne) and the Jagerpfeil.

"The Boeing 727"

The Boeing 727-100 was the first jet airliner to enter service with Ansett airlines of Australia on 16th October 1964.
The 727 proved very successful with airlines worldwide partly because of its capability to take off and land on smaller runways while still flying medium range routes.About 1,832 727's were produced between 1963 - 1984. They were retired from service with Ansett in April, 1997.
